Ghana One- Employment and Entrepreneurship

Club 2/3, Youth Challenge International (YCI) and the YMCA of Greater Toronto have achieved results and promoted best practices in youth-led responses to HIV/AIDS in Ghana and Benin. It is clear that there is the potential to extend the peer-to-peer and training methodologies beyond HIV/AIDS to relevant areas of youth development. One area that has been identified is youth business skills training in employability and entrepreneurship or small business practices.

Hence- GHANA ONE- EMPLOYMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP will begin this new initiative on October 6/07. Our team of volunteers, from across Canada, are engaged in pre-departure training and preparation for an exciting 8 weeks of workshops at the YMCA Technical Training Centre in Accra and the YMCA Girls' Vocational School in Takoradi
Please join us in our adventure. Updates (based on internet accessibility) will be provided on a weekly basis.

Let the work and fun begin !
